Registered Member MBACP

Kris is a qualified Integrative Counsellor who offers a calm, supportive, and confidential space for adults and young people aged 16 and over. He has a particular focus on working with neurodivergent clients, including those who identify as autistic, ADHD or AuDHD, as well as people who are exploring whether neurodivergence may help make sense of their experiences. He also works with clients experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, burnout, identity concerns, loss, and the challenges of everyday life.

Kris understands that many neurodivergent people have spent years masking, feeling misunderstood, or trying to adapt to environments that were never designed with them in mind. His approach is neurodivergent-affirming, recognising that therapy should adapt to the individual rather than expecting the individual to adapt to therapy. He offers a space where clients can feel accepted, work at their own pace, and explore their experiences without judgement or pressure.

As an Integrative Counsellor, Kris draws from a range of therapeutic approaches, including person-centred and psychodynamic theories, to create a way of working that reflects each person's unique needs, strengths, and ways of understanding the world. Sessions may involve exploring patterns, making sense of past experiences, processing emotions, or developing more sustainable ways of navigating everyday life.

Kris believes the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful counselling. His warm, thoughtful, and collaborative style helps clients feel heard, respected, and able to be themselves, creating the conditions for greater self-understanding, self-acceptance, and lasting personal growth.

Alongside his clinical work, Kris is committed to ongoing professional development, particularly in the area of neurodivergent-affirming practice. He maintains appropriate professional membership and insurance and is often described as warm, grounded, and compassionate, helping clients feel at ease throughout their therapeutic journey.
