Jessica has 7 years of experience working with children and young people in a variety of school settings. Trained as a primary school teacher, Jessica has experience working with children with autism/ADHD and other special educational needs. Having transitioned from primary teaching to counselling, Jessica is led by her passion to support and help young people with their emotional wellbeing as she recognises that young people are faced with many challenges today, such as problems associated with social media, cyber bullying and the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

Jessica is currently training on an integrative course to work with children and young people in a variety of ways, which includes creative therapies. Using her skills and professional training, she works collaboratively with children and families to find strategies and ways of coping with anxiety and low mood, using a CBT approach. Jessica has a BACP Registered supervisor who works therapeutically with children.
